i did not feel anywhere near as bad as yesterday... yah! felt quite ill until i got to work and had some crackers and a milo. Its more severe tiredness for me today.

at about 10am i rang dh and told him i was going home. i was literally falling asleep at my desk. i did end up staying.

the nodding off, crackers and frequent trips to bathroom must surely be tipping the mums off that I work with.

I am also having trouble getting to sleep and i keep waking every few hours (prob why i am so tired).

Oh.. got my bloods back today. Everything OK! My HCG at 4 weeks was 375, which is at the tope of the range. No wonder i dont feel well, maybe there are 2!

Hey Katte, I didn't have any ms with Spencer until about 6 weeks, with him I had lost track of my cycles cos we had decided to have TTC break while I changed jobs and I only tested cos I thought it had been a long time since my last AF. Felt totally normal and only got preggy symptoms about a week after taking the test.

I feel quesy and starving hungry. The starving hungry thing is an odd symptom for me. I had a dream last night that I was so hungry cos it was twins and then the sonographer said "no actual there is another one you are having triplets" I so hope that isn't a vision that comes true
Gotta love bizaar preggy dreams

Congrats Leelee and Rikswife. Welcome to the Jan babies! Good to hear you had a better day today melanie. I was thinking about you today and pondering on the possibility of you having twins! They scanned me at 8 weeks to see if I had twins since I was so sick but there was just my wee girl giving me grief all on her own! But I think you would cope just fine if you had twins. Women are, after all, great multitaskers! I'm still only getting the boob pain and tiredness so feeling good. Think I have become a bit of a grumpy bum tho...poor DH.
Cuppatea - how was your day? Not too quesy I hope? Yeah...I am sure my ms will kick in next week. Have a specialist working out a protocol so I don't end up languishing in hospital this time wanting the world to just go away and feeling truly miserable.
Am off to GP tomorrow so will no doubt be told what I have to do to avoid the other complication I had which was my asthma. Ended up on high doses of prednisone and was so bloated that I looked like I was carrying quads! Ah pregnancy...a joy and a pain all rolled into one!

Congrats Rikswife.

Hey Katte, not too bad its just a general icky feeling at the moment, I don't think the real ms has kicked in yet. I find if I keep eating it helps. My boobs have started feeling funny as well now, not really painful more tingly.
I'm mega tired as well, really struggled to get to sleep last night and then Spencer woke up at 3 and it took me over an hour to get him back to sleep. He has a cold the poor little boy and woke up cos he couldn't breathe through his nose, I ended up rocking him back to sleep which I haven't had to do for months. While I was getting him back to sleep I was wondering how the hell I will cope if I have two sick kiddies. Oh well too late to worry about that now.

Went to dr today and he managed to completely freak me out about my chances of having a child with a chromosomal abnormality as I am a 'geriatric mother' (my saying not his!) He was only laying the facts out and is actually very good but gosh the stats are scary! He has given me a form to get an hcg level done if I want as it is weird not being grossly ill and it doesn't even feel like I'm pregnant! Okay so sore boobs, continually yawning etc is probably a dead giveaway... Good to hear things aren't too nasty for you cuppatea. I certainly don't think it is going to be a walk in the park having two but at least my girl will be at school. I take my hat off to those of you who have a closer gap between babies. You guys deserve a medal! I probably would have except it has taken me ages to get over the hyperemesis experiance from last time. I was just too scared for a long time.

Congrats Rikswife and welcome!

I am a first timer too, every pain, twinge and cramp freaks me out. I dash to the loo to make sure everything is OK.

Katte, they have to tell you the worst case.. but geez dont you wish they wouldnt!!! Do you think you will get the bloods done? I hear you on the yawning your head off. I am also a bit grumpy, but only after work cos I am shattered.

Marisa I have also found that if I keep eating through the day, the queasiness isnt to bad at all. Mind you,I picked that up from one of your earlier posts I think. Thanks

Hooray for the weekend, I can have some nanna naps.

Good to see someone else is chatting! Um..think I might have just one lot of bloods done. Think I need it just to confirm to myself that I am actuelly pregnant! Am just hoping that I don't get sick this time. Mind you, I pretty much eat constantly anyway! Am not going to get a chance to have a nana nap this week DH is away till Monday so it's me and my 4yr old... could be a wee bit grumpy by the time the poor guy gets home.

I generally dont eat breakfast until about 10am, I think thats why I was feeling so icky. Now i have 5 or 6 crackers before I get out of bed and I am fine until I get to work.

Poor you! I dont how I would cope this weekend with a 4 year old, they have far too much energy.

I am having a scan on the 23rd so will soon see if its twins or not. My mum and DH's mum are taking far too much pleasure in teasing us

Good luck with test hun, Im sure everything is ok and in a week or so you will be wishing you could keep your breaky down
