Yeah I want to find out what the sex of our baby is. So we can refer it to him or her, lol and so we can buy all the right colours for bubs room, etc.

i want to know too. 3 reasons really, me and DH are really curious and impatient, want to call him/her something other than 'the baby' and want to know if i need to shop for boy things as we have a truckload of pink and frilly things!

Ditto! We want to refer to "him" or "her" not "the baby" or *shudder* "it". We also have no patience!
I also want to be able to shop for appropriate clothes etc...
That said we've agreed that if we can't tell at the 20 week scan we'll accept defeat...*sigh*

hmmmm I really dont know. On the one hand I am sooooo curious, but I htink I like the idea of having a surprise more. I htink we will probably not find out...but there is definately the temptation to ask though....
luckily we have a while to think about it...

In theory I would like to not find out and have the surprise at the end. But I think in reality I will get to my scan and HAVE to ask! I know Andy wants to know so I could just blame him for my lack of self restraint.

We didn't want to know, but were told accidentally by an over zealous sonographer!! I was initially disappointed to know (we're having a wee boy, and I really wanted a girl.... then!) but now I'm stoked we know, and it's so lovely being able to talk about our little boy by name, and to get all the blue things ready.

We found out with Maya, nd there is noooo way I will be able to restrain myself this time round either. I so don't do surprises, and with Maya it was really nice to give her a name and talk to her etc. Will be beating the baby to get it to move if it isn't co-operatve at the scan

we definately wanted to find out with jack. i'm not the most patient person in the world so waiting all those months would've been hell!!
were also had to re-paint our whole house, so wanted to know what colour to do his room etc
it's so awesome to talk to your bubs and to others about them using their name rather than 'it' or 'bub', it's more personal.
having said that though, this one is going to be a surprise. that way, we have one of each
if i can control myself at the scan!!

We wanted to find out due to the long line of boys in the family on corys side. Since this one is a girl we have certainly shaken a few foundations hehe

I wanted to find out both times, Nathaniel wasn't sure with Josiah but had up until the scan date to decide... and he decided he wanted to know! We didn't tell anyone what we were having ("It's a baby!" ) until about 2 weeks before he was born when I couldn't cope anymore!

I found out with both of my pregnancies and didnt regret it. It made the baby seem more of a little person when we could refer to it by name plus we are both really impatient
