I would like to know the other ways of spelling Michaela.

I know that you can spell it with a k and also a couple of ways with a y.

Does anyone know of any other ways to spell it. I just don't want it to look too much like Michael.

We like that name too! We will spell it "Mikaela" if this baby is a girl, but according to my baby name book, the alternaive spellings are:
"Michaela"
"Mikaela"
"Michayla"
"Mikayla"
Becca, mum of 2 girls & 3 boys

I like Michaela. I'm not big on the spellings people use sometimes, like replacing 's' with 'z' or 'ch' with 'k'. I guess I'm just a bit old fashioned like that!!!

I've also seen it spelt Makayla... no "i"
I like Makeila though? That looks neat.

I too LOVE this name and wanted it name our baby this if we have a girl, but hubby doesn't like it. :(

i know a wee girl called micaela, and i must say, i love her name if you are one to not like naming kids a certain name because of name association (bad people) there'd be no worries with micaela, the micaela i know is a true sweetie and beautiful, funny etc.... thats just my 2 cents worth!
i'd spell it....
Mikayla

I once saw Zak-Harry. I don't like it.
