O Holy Night is lovely.
I think my favourite in-the-mood Christmas song though is probably The Christmas Song by Cliff Richard. I think that's what it's called - everybody sway with me: "Christmas time.... Mistletoe and wine...".
I dunno why I like it so much, especially since I wasn't brought up with all the traditions he mentions and I don't usually like his music (too old!!). But I do have a special place for that one.sv

3) christmas shoes ...in particular this part

Fairytale of New York is my absolute favourite.
I think, mainly, because it has bad words in it, and I could sing them when I was younger and Mum couldn't get mad 'cos I was quoting

fairy tale here too. and snoopy's xmas. Me and my ex used to have competitions to see who could last the longest without hearing it.
and i HATE any pop stars who release christmas songs- hanson, mariah, christina - am looking at you!

I love this song too. Judy Garland has so much depth (so much sadness) in her voice when she sings.
