lol, i am in invercargill..... well i guess we are north to bluff, and stewart island. but not much else.
i guess if i had said it was urgent i would have gotten in, but i didnt mind too much waiting. My doc is great, and there is starting to be a shortage of docs around town, so i guess she is getting booked up.

Good luck Lildo!
I have no doubt in my mind that your pregnancy will be confirmed though!

i'm back! and it is confirmed - i am playing host to a parasite.
we still dont know when baby is due though, doc seemed to think my last period was implantation. And i have one of those 'reverted/retroverted/upside down uterus's, so cant check that way.... so i have rang the midwife, waiting to hear back that she can take me, and then will arrange a dating scan.
it will be a jan baby though!
thanks for all your lovely kind wishes girls, its great being able to share it all with you.

Congratulations Lildo!
And I have one of those 'reverted/retroverted/upside down uterus's' too and it is supposed to make it harder to fall pregnant, so I feel increased hope that you are pregnant with the same condition!

I think it's actually quite common. My mum has it and my MIL says she has it (but I don't think she's have a clue, really ...she just doesn't like to be left out!)
Yeck ...gotta love those internals I had one about a year ago when I was having some problems, but the worst of it was the internal ultrasound - I was completely traumatised by that!!

Oh, I just realised I'd forgotten to add that the proper word is 'retroverted', but I like your combination better Lildo :-)

Congrats Lyla! And the internal probes aren't soooooo bad - OK so they're pretty uncomfortable, but you get awesome clear pics of bubs.

I love it! I have a confused uterus!!
And it is confused too ...it appears to think it's just there to fill space and doesn't seem to have clicked onto the fact that it is there to grow a baby!!
Stupid uterus
