Yep I'm doing it. I missed it last year because it wasn't that well advertised. I was bummed when I saw it on the news the next day.
It'll be fun I reckon.
I wonder how many babies will be born 9 months after

bobbie I only heard about it the day after it happened last year as well, so I'm glad it's been advertised a bit more this year.

We'll be doing it this year. We were in Sydney on our honeymoon for Earth Hour last year but were watching the Sydney Philharmonic at the Opera House. Apparently they used all green energy because it was Earth Hour - I reckon they should be using it all the time!
We'll probably eat dinner by candle light and play some cards or board games. Or we will be trying to get C to go to sleep like tonight

It's only turning off the lights, right ...... so I can still be on OB and use the computer screen to light the room
Though I think DH would prefer a candle lit dinner. ** sigh **

Yeah just the lights - which if 1 billion people across the earth all have their lights off will save soo much energy! Dh will still have to be watching the rugby so the tv will still be on. But I'll turn the lights and any applicances off (yes even my laptop! I'm sure I can cope for an hour )

I plan on doing it too! Although its not much different to how we live every day. Last year all our lights died and we were to lazy to fix them so spent the whole winter living with just one bedside table lamp lighting the whole house.
Think I might have to make an effort to turn off the rest of the appliances using power, now that will be a challenge!

We'll be doing it also. We'll try turning everything off at first but I'm pretty sure we're not going to know what to do with ourselves with no tv or comp We'll probably fall asleep after 20 minutes.

I did it - sorta - Rhylz got to bed late due to unexpected visitors - so had to leave the hall way light on so he could sleep but all rest was off - and excpet for internet I didn't have tv on either....
Think I did my bit - was a bit disapointed that the street lights weren't turned off for an hour but hey.....local government for ya!

We did it, we started early and did it for 90 minutes. They should do this more often, that would really be awesome. Not super hard to do (most of the time).
