ok this is going to be very wierd to describe, but I have noticed that after I have eaten and my tummy is full and I have a big sneeze (the kind where you breathe in 2 or 3 times before the actual sneeze like ah...ah...choooooo) the sides of my stomach really hurt, its like my stonach is going to burst, is this normal or is my body not stretching enough - i tried to explain it to my husband and he looked at me like i was crazy so I was just wondering if anyone else had felt this?

It prob hurts cos your muscles are getting stretched and when you sneeze like that they have to stretch even further, esp if you've got a full tummy as well...

yep - that'll be your ligaments stretching. I still get it when I sneeze or cough too hard

Yup sounds like it's the ligaments stretching. I've had that before as well. I've also popped something in my groin sneezing too hard!

I have been finding sneezing pretty uncomfortable too since being pregnant - before I always used to sneeze three times in a row but now it's usually just once for some bizarre reason!

I get a pain like a suddenly pulled muscle around the bottom of my stomach when I sneeze or cough now (little coughs don't do it though).  Just figured it was 'cause those muscles and ligaments are already taking a hammering.

Ummmmm yeah    I had one very small accident after a particulary bad sneezing fit and now I'm paranoid when I sneeze and ALWAYS do my pelvic floor exercises.

I had that pain during both my pregnancies, when I sneezed or coughed. I found drawing my knees up a bit helped (although not a good look if you're out in public!).
