We are completely stuck for boys names and need help. We have several girls names picked, but no boys names. We need a first and middle name, and dont have any family names we want to use.

We like something not too common, but not so unheard of that people dont know how to spell/say it- had that prob when Isla was born, lol.
I want something that is masculine sounding.

The only boys name we both really like is Ryan- but doesnt go with our last name,...neither does anything ending with an 's' sound.

TIA!

The traditional names are less common now like james, thomas, matthew, peter which could be pete, andrew....

What about toby or Reece.

names like corban, riley, austin, callum, tyler, kaedyn, lucas e.t.c are all becoming really popular now.

We have this problem, we have one boys name. I do like it but I don't know if I want to use it. Why don't babies come out with names like cabbage patch babes did.

Ryan's a good name.....

What does your DH like? Maybe you can alter it a wee bit to make it someting you both like.

My fav boys names are James (Jamie), Andrew (Andy), Alex, Nicholas, we have a long family name so like ones that can be shortened easily.

Other options - Jeremy, Kieran, Hamish, Jonathan, Bradley, Robert

If we have a boy I'd really love to all him Andrew James either Andy or AJ for short.

Initials are important too.

Get a book, best thing I did, well i got several & DS1 was not named till he was born, Jordan, DH came up with while reading a name book in the hospital, I had always loved it, I was still coming to terms with him being a boy, ha ha.

I thought we were having a girl & we had a boy (did not find out) my second one I was so sure again is was going to be a girl, but no boy #2 same with the 3rd one, they all had girls names picked for them.

We were going to have Samantha for a girl but had a Samuel. Ty for the last one but took ages to pick the right name we could shorten to Ty & went with Tyler & love it.

When picking names I go for, sounds good with the surname, sounds cute as a baby, sounds solid when older & has no bad memories like kids you went to school with, hee hee

dam spelling,lol.

Did you try Nymbler? You can put in the names you like and it brings up others you might like based on those

I always thought Peyton was a girls name too, never heard of any boys with it. Love Samuel and William to traditional names are def becoming more popular.

Archie, Arthur, Walter, Desmond or last names as first names, Harrison, Fletcher, Mitchell

Yeah , to me its a girls name, but I know two people that named their boys Payton (but I think spelt Peighton and Peytn )

I hate all those grandparent names that are coming back in fashion , not my cup of tea , no offence to anyone good thing we don't all like the same sort of names , how boring that would be !

I like Owen but DH doesnt,...hmm seems to be a pattern here. We already have 3 baby name books so not keen to buy more.

I love the nickname AJ. Were thinking of Aidan, but now we both only about 6/10 happy with it,..not sure which 'J' name for middle name tho,.....just would like to come up with more ideas so we. Might stick to Aidan if we cant agree on anything else tho!
