I've never come across flushable wipes???? Always 'throwaway' but not flushable So I would think, nope you can't flush them.

Have you thought about just using cloth wipes? Before I made my own I just bought a whole lot of baby face wipes from the supermarket (6 for about $5). Much much cheaper and I just rinse them in the laundry tub then into the machine.

When we used throwaway wipes I would have to use up to 5 to clean up the big explosions! With cloth wipes a BIG one only requires 2 wipes maximum

Hmm I know you can get flushable liners, but flushable wipes? In saying that, there shouldnt be a problem with them being flushed if they're bio-degradible and break down properly. I used these: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Baby-gear/Nappies-changing/Cloth-nappies/Other/auction-263389738.htm which were really soft and lovely so we used them as wipes as well. That might be a better way to go maybe?

Kandoo wipes are flushable too, they're done by Pampers. I *think* you can get them in NZ. They're way too pricey here, but if they were cheaper I would get them!
