Hi All,

Just a quick plug for a great company.

One of the ladies at coffee groups car was written off in an accident. The insurance company refused to replace the car seat that was empty in the back seat.

It was a safe n sound. Somehow the company found out and contacted her. She now has a brand new carseat from the company. AWESOME

Yup the company will replace the car seats if they are in a crash. Only if the police are involved. It's their way of getting damaged seats off the roads. It's one of the reasons I got one

It was a selling point for us too. I recently checked our insurance policy and made sure that they knew that it would have to be replaced regardless of if it was in use or not. It was quite a long phonecall as they had to find out which policy it would have to come under!

I was told too when I bought mine from the babyfactory, to take a photograph of baby actually sitting in the carseat - and keep the photo for insurance purposes. Safe n Sound may also require to see the photo, as proof that the carseat is actually in use.
Aside from this, the buckle on our safe n sound carseat became stuck, so the safe n sound people told me to take it out of the car and clean it out with water. They thought maybe there was food in it, but bubs doesn't eat in the car, so don't know why it did that. Anyhow, safe n sound sent me out a new buckle right away and it's all good now. Now that's customer service!! Initially I rang babyfactory to say that the buckle didn't work, and they were useless, so thats when I rang the manufacturer.
