Can anyone recommend any remedys to help with MS as I have constant nausea 24 hours a day and it's driving me mental... I haven't managed to do a thing lately and feel pretty guilty as I feel like my kids are suffering... I can't even bare to cook them tea I must say I am very happy to have MS to reassure me I'm still UTD, but just wanna wee break to get stuff done

They say ginger, peppermint tea and eating carbs help. My MW recommended dry water crackers - but I had constant vomiting so I'm not sure that would work for nausea. I also found on some days that really thinly sliced apple or citrus flavours worked.

To be honest, I didn't find anything that really helped me (12 weeks of hell), but other ladies find different things helped. Ginger morning sickness tablets helped on some days to keep things down...but on the days they didn't help, they were pretty awful coming back up again.

Some women find the sea sickness wrist bands helped. Honestly on the days I was sick the only thing that was really positive was lollipops because it would take the awful taste out of my mouth and because I wasn't actually ingesting anything my tummy couldn't protest!

Sea sickness bands are great but the best thing is acupuncture. I got bad MS late in the piece (about 14 - 18 weeks) and a friend recommended acupuncture. I was a non believer but was desperate so gave it a go. It INSTANTLY takes the nausea away, I had 2 sessions and have not had a bit of MS since the first one. $80 per go which is not cheap but so worth it for feeling better!!!!

If you are in Auckland, I went to the Auckland Acupuncture Centre in Balmoral, Neil is the guy who does it and he is great.

I hear you. Werther's originals, Mint Imperials and Oddfellows helped me.

That, and getting to 17 weeks.

Sea bands saved me- but sometimes a combo of that and metaclopromide tabs was the only thing that got me through :o( I had it 24/7 also... YUCK!!!

Doc gave me the metaclopromide and it is safe .. just depends on whether you want all natural...

Make sure you play around with the bands to get them in the right place,, in between tendons on wrist about 2 fingers down,.,. you kind of have to stick a finger in there and make sure the "bobble" is in between.

I found sour things helped me - sour lollies, citrus fruits, granny smith apples...

my nausea got worse as the day went on and I was often only able to eat an iceblock for tea, so if I had any patches in the day where I felt OK I just went for gold and ate pretty much whatever I felt like a the time.
