Okay so I haven't weighed in as we've been away. I'm going to have the week off so will touch base next week. I have eaten everything and anything over the weekend and feel really bloated, but was enjoyable!

The good news though ... last time I bought jeans they were size 18. Yesterday - size 13!! Wahooo, feeling sexy!!

Wow Tischler, go you, that is such a fantastic achievement, you must be extremely proud of yourself, well done!!

Not much to report from me, my scales are still missing in action, am thinking I will have to go buy some new ones rather than wait for my old ones to reappear.

Have been really good on the excerise front though, so hope that is helping.

Hope everyone else is doing ok too.

Wow Tischler - go you!!! it is a great feeling aye, i have gone from 93kg to 65 kgs and have managed to maintain it for the past year now - so I know exaclty how you feel.

I'm aiming to keep my weight this way until our first IVF in Nov.

Tonight i have been a bit naughty and binged on chocolate, but if i don't do it every now and then I would have gone crazy a long time ago.

I recently brought Zumba to use with my Wii and its actually really fun - even tho i'm very unco ... lol

Way to go Tischler - awesome

I havent jumped on the scales since I got my BFP. Just lately I havent even been out walking, just not feeling up too it. Hopefully things will come right soon, I will either know what is going on....

Such a hard journey to be on. The highs are real high and the lows are just down right unfair....

Well I have just sat and read all 10 pages of this post, and I must say that you have all got me VERY motivated.
Think I might join this thread if I am invited, as posting progress has to help for sure.

My BMI is 31.9, and we are due to start IVF in approx 3-4 months time. So I HAVE to get it down before then.

Anyway, Im off to create a ticker...

Hi Balcy - welcome!! Of course you can join. Re: BMI for IVF - I'm sure 31.9 is fine. I think it has to be 32 or under and at one stage I was 32.3 (or similar) and that was okay with them (was just told not to put more weight on). I don't think they allow you 'on' the waitlist if it's not in an appropriate range. I understand about the desire to lose more though - Good Luck!!

AFM - sorry forgot to update you all. Man, these drugs are playing with my brain! My memory is gone. Anyway, after all the sugar cravings etc I am stunned to say my weight hasn't changed in 2 weeks. I've been eating like cr*p, no idea how I've pulled this off (again).

So, all good on my front, but feeling very guilty, and just thinking about how much I could lose if I did my low GI eating and went to the gym more frequently.

Is it just me or is it really hard to find the energy for the gym when doing the IVF drugs ..... last time I went it took me 2 days to recover!

Hope you're all doing well

Thank tischler
Well, today I cracked out the WII Fit... It had great pleasure in telling me I hadnt used it for 122 days... OOPS!!!
No wonder hubby says it was a waste of money... LOL!

Anyways, plan to use it for half an hour each day that I dont work, as my work is quite physical (cleaning motels) so I kinda see that as exercise but I only work a couple of days a week.

Wish me luck!

OMG - so slack, it's been another 2 weeks since weigh in, but I'm happy to say I've lost another 500g during that time eating very very poorly.

I'm so pleased with this cycle though (not the results) but the fact that I haven't put on 5kg during it like I did with the previous too ..... This could be seen as positive (maybe the weight loss will lead to BFP) or negative (when I was chubbier I got better numbers).

Oh it's a crazy world we live in!!

How's your weight loss going Balcy, RachB - Scaredy = how are you finding your weight with this cycle?

Hey all

Have been pretty slack on the WW front lately. Mixture of things including been away on sat mornings over the past 4 weeks although looked in my WW book and last weigh in beginning of april was 82.9 and currently weighing 79.8 and have not been to the gym in that time although will get back there later this week.

Hoping to lose another 6 kg or so by the time we do another stim cycle in July sometime. I know when i was doing the puregon nightly injections I did not have energy to get to the gym.

Good luck to all on the weight loss front.

Well done to you both Tischler and Trouble, thats a great result!

Can't say the same unfort, DP finally bought our scales back home and have put on about 3 kg since starting our IVF cyle, so very annoyed about that. Although I am hoping some of it is just excess fluid from EC, weighed myself this morning and down .5kg from last night, fingers crossed it keeps heading down!

9.2kg down here! The program is working well, and my colleagues & friends are commenting.

Long way to go yet... But it really feels achievable now!

Well done quieteyes, what a fantastic loss! Go you!

I too need to get back on the band wagon and get motivated again!

I just had my cholesterol levels checked and they are sky high! Anybody have any ideas on how to reduce this, it brasses my off a wee bit, we hardly eat any takeaways and fast food, and yet still my levels are so high, have tried everything the Naturopath has told me to try and it just keeps going up! Grrr!

Anyway, I still think excerise is my main downfall and I need to move my butt some more! Still in a bit of pain from EC which was over two weeks ago now and everytime I do a bit extra I end up bleeding, am so over it right now!

Sorry for the vent, having a woe is me day ... again!

Hi girls,

Sorry for the delay, was supposed to weigh in on Friday, but forgot so have just done it tonight. So over the course of this IVF cycle, I've put on 400g. I'm so pleased with that, considering each previous cycle was 5kg!

It should make it easier to get back on track pretty well. I have 4kg to go til my initial goal .... so doing okay.

Scaredy - I find cholesterol levels random. I know really healthy people who have terrible levels and obese people whose levels are good. There's a hell of a lot of hereditary-ness in the cholesterol and for those people there just doesn't seem to be anyway diet and exercise helps - some just need to go straight to meds.

Rosie - don't worry about the 6kg - different scales and everything. When you feel you're ready to, we'll be here to support you in moving on with weight loss.

I'm going to go back to the gym this week after not being there for 4-5 weeks. Eeek! They have rung to ask me why I've been missing (and I wasn't home to take the call) ..... I think I'll book a weigh in so I can talk to whoever does it and tell them on the quiet where things are at, and that way they won't all hassle me and will give me some space.

Remember - "We can do it"

Hey all

I weighed myself earlier and about 78kg which was down a bit from week before considering I have had last 5 days in NZ eating kiwi food seems to be going ok. back at the gym from tomorrow and back on the weight loss train. Still being doing WW unlimited and will aim for loss of around 1kg per week before we start next stim cycle.

Also weighing on the scales differs depend on time of day, fluid retention etc so very easy to put on kg or two.

Good luck to all others.

Wow, your doing fantastic Tischler, only 400g through an IVF cycle with all the ups and downs, thats very impressive, well done!

Thanks re your message re cholesterol levels, I've decided I'm not going to worry about it for now, am going to continue to try and lose this extra weight, get transfer done, and worry about it after bubs arrives (positive thinking )

Trouble, sounds like you are doing fantastic too, very impressed with the 1kg a week loss, thats awesome, go you!

Hi ladies

I would like to rejoin this thread. I was on here ages ago and since then have had two BFP which sadly both ended in m/c. We have an appointment with our specialist on Monday and have been doing some research on what options might be available to us. I don't want my weight to be an issue and I really need to get motivated and have something else to focus on so here I am back again. DH is on board this time as well so I hope some friendly competition will help!

I have read a few pages and remember some names from last time I was on here and wanted to say congratulations on the amazing weight loss you have had!! Hopefully some of that will rub off on me!

Hi Orca - welcome back. I'm still hanging around here! Sorry to hear of your recent news Hope your FS had some suggestions for where to from here? We have our review tomorrow ....

An update from me, well I've put on 500g but not surprised at all. I have returned to a hinkering (? hunkering - not sure of the right word here) for salt and vinegar chips, V and coffee and it's not good for me. My plan to overcome this is as of 1 July. I CAN DO IT!!

I did still go shopping yesterday, and this time I've bought a short black merino dress .... very 'sexy' according to DH. Goes really well with my boots (which I hardly have off my feet - soooo good). I'm going to have to be game when I wear it, but it feels good and I know I look great, and will look even better with the 500g down and more. What better motivation huh?

Hope everyone else is doing well with their goals - WE CAN DO IT!!
