this may sound like a dumb question but does anyone have a secret for cooking meatballs? When l make my own l normally end up with weird shaped blobs that l often burn in the hope that the middle is cooked!!

l bought some little (smaller than a ping pong ball) ones from the supermarket today as they were on a good special, they are such a perfect shape it seems a shame to ruin them by squishing them like l often do!!

I normally brown them off in the pan and then finish them in the oven.

haha, l normally try to fry them and worry they wont cook in the middle so kinda squish them if that makes sense. l ended up lightly browning them then put them in the oven, DP, DS and l all hoovered them, YUM!

I also brown in pan then bake. Jake will pick at them occassionally too...always exciting when the boy eats something other than pot, pumpkin and beef tin
