MrsI lovely to hear from you and congrats on the wee girl. I love hearing from you so don't hold back!!! Red - you must be close to due date now too - how you doing?
Storm I always try have my smear in the two issue weeks of cycle, so around ov if I can. Think that's what they recommend anyway.
Epic sucky about all the mucking around! Thankfully last night wasn't too bad, there was a moment where I was amongst a billion women and babies but extracted myself to help in the kitchen which helped. The ppl there I didn't really know as a few of our group of close friends couldn't make it so being in the kitchen was best lol.
Anna hugs hun. Hope the upped dose does it for you.
Been thinking a lot about 'what if' for this fet to try prep myself for worst case and think I will put any more ttc biz on hold for the year (next year) and give myself some time out. It'll be good soul searching to really decide if I want another ivf or try live childless.

BC would you consider adoption/fostering if this next one doesnt work out? we think well adopt if we dont get far with ivf- hoping we dont even get that far, but once our public funding is gone then thats it.. i figure if we dont get our bub by then, its better to invest any money wed use on further ivf towards adoption.. but thats us, and not something we have to think too much about just yet fortunately. will wait until our FA appointment and see where we are at before we make those decisions.. am eagerly awaiting the letter in the mail.. its been a good 7 weeks since i was phoned to say we were on the waitlist, and the appointments were apparently 8-10 weeks wait at the moment..so this week im hoping to get our appointment! the waiting is tiring i tell ya! hubbys away at the mo too, he gets back on my CD18 on friday.. hopefully ill ov day 21-22 like i have been lately so we can have a chance to catch the eggie.. ill be disappointed if i ov early for once and miss our chance!

Oh hugs Lesley.
Yep soda think regardless of what happens I will seriously look into other options. Have been thinking about even getting the process going now. Wish it was easy to adopt though - so many chn in the world in need.
But putting my positive shades on for the time being and just living life in the now. 😎
Cheers girls for always being there to help me through a rough patch xxx

So sorry Lesley, devastating, sad for you, just not fair are the words that come to mind reading your post.
My fingers are crossed that the frozen embie you have BC is the one.
I too have been thinking about adoption and finally asked DF if he would consider it and he said he would. Our family is just not complete.

Getting pretty sad when I think how I will never have my own baby. It will be ok I am sure but doesn't feel good now.
BTW does anyone want a nearly full box of Elevit? I optimistically bought a box of 100 last week and there must be at least 95 left. Anyone interested? Send me a message.

Lesley that is gutting, take care and do something special for yourself. Storm there were no follicles growing. Epic have you tried talking to the department secretaries? I've always found the ones where i am really helpful for appointments etc. Also sucks about IVF costing more.
AFM, still trying to organise HSG, managed to get hold of the nurse this morning to organise it but because i don't have a cycle naturally they have to talk to the radiologist and am still waiting to hear back. Would like it done in the next couple of weeks as hubby and I are going on a long overdue holiday in November so am not starting clomid again till we get back.

Hi ladies
Congrats on the safe arrival of your daughter Mrs I :-) So happy to hear all is well. Aw Les, gutted to hear AF has arrived. Big hugs honey, that blows big chunks!
Congrats NZVeg and Pepi. Lots of sticky wishes for you both.
Hi BC, Shimma, Epic, Soda, and anyone I haven't mentioned specifically :-)
I had my op on 26th September. They did a number of things (8 procedures), I can't remember them all let alone spell them. Short story long, all lady parts are in great reconditioned working order. We have had the month off and then back into medicated cycle after AF arrives. We will now be on monitored clomid with trigger shot. Dr removed 4 cysts between 4cm -10 cms from both ovaries (two on each). Because of this he has dropped dose other specialist had us on (we are obviously responding to meds). I'm not looking forward to having to travel down to Auckland to get bloods and scans, but it is worth it aye. Recovery was really good apart from I have felt tired. Kids were on kindy hols to, so that made it even harder to get over tiredness lol.
Anyways, love and peace to you all. I still have the forum open so manage to update most days. Take care xxxx

Wow it's been quiet in here ladies. How is everyone doing? BC how are you getting on hun? Lesley hope you are doing ok. HT so so lovely to see you pop back in here! Sounds like you had a successful op! Am so pleased and have everything crossed that's just what you needed! Anna yaye for hsg tomorrow! Let us know how you get on. AFM CD19 and looks like today will be the positive OPK - so much later than the last 2 months of clomid. I went and saw my GP the other day and she is so great. We had a big chat about it all and she was so lovely and said she wished she knew about fertility so she could help more. Suggested I look into maybe seeing the recurrent miscarriage clinic here in Auckland? Says she finds it quite odd I keep loosing the embryo at the exact same stage each month and is surprised after 10 of them, the specialists aren't looking into that more - so thought maybe the clinic would…. so think I will look into that anyone with any experiences in going to see them?

Hey storm thanks for asking. Just trucking along nothing much going on while I wait for follow up appt with FA. Ever since mc I've felt like I'm floating unanchored between 2 worlds of ttc and not ttc it's a weird place to be.
There def have been others on here who've been to that clinic. I'm surprised too that nothing more has been looked into re your losses at same point each time.
Ht was good to see you here. Anna good luck for Friday. I found hsg a walk in the park personally (compared to other things lol).

GL ladies with upcoming testing/treatments etc and hugs to those who need them! Sorry havent fully read back its tricky on my ph. Phoned Fert plus today to see where my appointment was and they said "oh well we will hopefully see you before the end of the year but probably in december.." so im told itll be 10 weeks max when I did all my tests etc 8 weeks ago..and now there cpuld be another 2 months..ahh I guess thats the way it goes huh and its only the beginning so guess I should get used to it..looking at the positive side tho it does give me longer to get that miracle in the meantime..think im gearing up for ov..hubbys home tomorrow night hoping hes not too late!

Hmm yes soda unfortunately appts are hard to get even once you've been on their books for awhile. Frustrating to the max. Good luck getting that miracle in the mean time 😉
