Hi AA, thanks for setting this up, hope you don't mind if I jump in here sometimes. I've had a different journey to many in the TTC 12+ mths thread but I've had a mc with my first pregnancy and enjoy the support from the group and sharing in others x

Also I'm too scared to join the 'due in' thread just yet...too much excitement & I don't want to get caught up in it as I'm trying to remain positive but open minded this early in.

Barely Mac - check out my ticker. Currently being battered by all day nausea, though there's a few hours in the evening that are OK! Anyone is welcome.

Ha ha Mac. No wonder you're confused, as no, you can't see the tickers on a mobile. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow. Makes me laugh, being newly pregnant is a little like being a kid again, every little bit counts (so it's 6 AND A HALF weeks) and you always round up!
Red, how far along are you? Around 14?

Auntie, thanks for setting this group up. :-)
As at today I'm 4weeks 3days. Next BT tomorrow to see how my levels are rising. Too soon for me to feel like setting up a ticker yet .. but hopefully soon I will.
3rd pregnancy, first baby.
Looking forward to seeing lots more ladies join. :-)

Thanks for setting up AA :) Great idea. I haven't checked out the other due in forums but can imagine it's a different vibe and we've got different worries etc...
I'm 5 weeks, 1 day today and everything going well so far but still having trouble believing it's real since I don't have any symptoms and it was such a long time coming (although we were lucky enough for this to happen on our first IVF cycle).
Probably a bit too early to do anything about but I have been thinking about obstetrician vs midwife after I get discharged from FA. I know they recommend an obstetrician for all IVF babies but it seems like a huge expense if the pregnancy is normal especially after spending so much already on IVF. What are you guys thoughts on this?
Good luck for BT tomorrow Cridic. Tinkling of you, we are only a few days apart

Cridic and Sunshine I'm around same timing, I'm 4w2d....and a nervous wreck hoping everything's going ok. How often are you guys monitored through FA? I haven't had fertility treatment (had a mc in jan, no children as yet), my first appointment with GP is tues am so at the moment I'm doing a HPT every few days to keep myself sane! Line has been getting darker each time - phew x

Mac, congratulations!!
I'm not being monitored through FA as I only registered with them 3 days before finding out I was pregnant so this pregnancy wasn't through fertility treatment. I'm just using my normal GP. FA offered it to me, but my GP does the same monitoring and it's free. My GP is willing to let me have as many BT's as I feel necessary (I have a permanent Lab Tests card) but waiting for the results stresses me out more than is necessary .. so I'm thinking after tomorrow's BT I'll probably stop monitoring my levels and just wait for my dating/viability scan to see how things are progressing.

Welcome Lucky, of course.
Yay Mac :) I'm just going with what FA say in terms of BT's. Have got another one next Tues and then I'll see what they say after that. Am booked in for a scan in 3 weeks from now. So I assume maybe they'll just wait for that.

Am busy freaking myself out...haven't had any symptoms and when my symptoms disappeared last time at 10wks that's how I knew I had mc :( I know I'm being silly as with last pregnancy I didn't even know I was pregnant at this early stage! I did have more cramps last time and brownish discharge that lasted from about 4-7wks...none of that this time, guess I take that as a good sign

Hey Lucky, of course! We started this group from TTC 12months+ because we didn't feel we fitted in other places but you're welcome to join.
I had four BTs in total, the last at 5+ weeks then nothing till the scan at 7 weeks. Was totally nervous but the nausea started a couple of days before the scan and we saw the little heartbeat flickering away :)
And now the nausea it biting me the ass. Today I threw up on the motorway, while driving. Managed to exit, indicate and park all while throwing up. Think hubby was impressed! He's definitely taking over the morning commute from now on...
Am meeting my midwife next week. I was with fert plus and they simply said I could have midwife or obstetrician but certainly didn't push specialist care. I absolutely don't want any more intervention than necessary, but then this is my first pregnancy and our issues are male-factor related, it might be different if I'd had unsuccessful pregnancies. My mother is convinced that our genes mean that now I've got hold of an embryo, it'll all be plain sailing!

Mac, sorry we crossed. I had no symptoms as am on progesterone so boobs have been sore since before transfer. I did have a bleed at 3wks 4 days that was very stressful cos I thought it was all over but in hindsight looks like late implantation. Only sx 6weeks+
