hi jacksons mummy, i'm a nelson mum and am always pleased to meet another one. i have a 16 months old son and am in the process of looking for a house closer to town (i am currently in upper moutere).
i fully understand what you mean when you say it feels like you have no life other than your kids, i've been feeling that way recently as well, that's why i think this move will be a really positive thing for me as i can get more involved in things when i'm closer to town.
welcome to ohbaby!
hey rachel, we've nearly got enough nelson people on here now for a little nelson meet up lol

yep I would come over for sure. Was gonna come over this past week for a play with Joey at the Tahuna beach park, but never made it, got very busy doing stuff. Am coming over on next sunday for the wedding expo, but that will be a busy day for me, and will be minus (hopefully) Mr nearly 2. I don't mind the drive, and both my kids are great little travellers (so far, fingers crossed!)

i'm better with morning/midday catch ups coz, like joey, mikey sleeps in the afternoon. i'm in upper moutere but can stay at my parents in nelson if i know somethings happening in town, i'm pretty much free any day i think.
ana, i hope joey's feeling better, it must be awful for both of you!

Thanks Ella He is still pretty miserable poor monkey.
I just realised wednesday is Anzac day. Should we maybe try FRIDAY so there is lots of time to organise Ella to nelson etc.?
Also where should we have it, I would invite you here but it's not my house. Would anyone want it at their house? Otherwise if it's good weather we could meet at a park or if you guys know a cafe or something??

friday would be great! would just be me and kayla, emma will be at preschool and jade at kindy makes it so much easier with just the one.
i'll think about a place and get back to you unless someone comes up with somewhere before my brain does my place may be ok- but i am moving in a few weeks so might start to become a place of mess (bler!)
look forward to it
