I did find out at the scan but with Maya I was absolutely certain she was a girl from day one and I was right. Had no such inclinations with the gremlins, altho must confess to being very grateful I ended up with two girls and not two boys - boys sound like hard work!

I only picked out a boys name before we went for our scan. It was really cool. I was REALLY sure that we were having a boy. I still remember ringing the SIL and telling her that we were having "an Ethan!!!!"

LOL - I was 100% certain that Christopher was a girl and everyone told me that a mother knows so I never doubted myself at all. We only had pink things and girls outfits and when he came out, mum said to me, "Oh - its a Christopher" (my first son was always going to be Christopher) and in my post labour state I yelled at her "thats not even funny" and didn't believe her till they showed him to me. It was difficult getting used to referring to him as a "he". Mum had to rush out to get him some clothes.
So - that gut feeling can sometimes be waaaaaaay off

I thought we were having a boy, everyone told me we were having a boy, and when she was born, they said congrats its a wee girl.....I said "Its a What?", and then had to lean over a have a look myself .
We hadn't thought of any girls names but luckily hadn't bought any 'boys' clothes.

I had convinced myself somehow that Hannah was a boy , never found out at scan, didn't know until birth that she was a "she"
But with the other two I knew as soon as we picked their names, somehow they just felt spot on and the alternative name was so hard to pick.

I was right both times. We didn't find out with Jacob, but I "knew", and with Charlotte we had a "special circumstances" scan at 32 weeks so we could tell my dad the sex of the baby before he died. Our hospital are really tight with scans, and baby was modest at 20 weeks and wouldn't show, and we couldn't get another scan even though we offered to pay. The hospice organised it for us when it became very apparent he wouldn't even make christmas, let alone feb for baby, and Rod and I had bets on "sexual favours" on what the baby was going to be, he was adamant it was a boy, but I was sure it was a girl. I won!!! (and for winning I didn't have to put out, which was my prize, the not putting out bit!!)

I sure Ben was a girl, even when he popped out I didn't even bother asking the midwife or hubbie I was soo sure, we'd even decorated "her" room with a girlie border, oh well!!!!

Yes most definitely. With both Conor and Nyah I decided at about 6-8wks that they would be what they are. When I had Nyah the first thing I asked after she was born was "is she a girl?" didn't ask if she was ok.. until after the sex was confirmed by the mw.
With this one I'm thinking boy. Will see on Thursday if I'm right..

Mother's Intuition...I most definitely knew I was having a girl first time round, we didn't find out at our scan. When 'it' was born the 'helper' MW said what a "handsome little fellow", DD's Dad said 'it's not a boy!' She was very embarrassed, LOL! She asked if we knew what sex it was - no, we just 'knew'
This time round, when we got pregnant we REALLY wanted a boy so we found out at our scan, I wanted to make sure it was a boy!!.... It is
My mum had a 'reading' done about 8 months before I got pregnant & the woman told her I had a Male spirit around me. So I kinda was expecting to have a Boy this time!

First time I felt I would be so disappointed if it was a girl and I got a boy.
This time I felt I would be disappointed if it was a boy and I got a girl so I'd say I knew.

Well, I am thinking it will be a baby, but more often than not it feels like it is a giant tapeworm. I guess it is only 9 weeks or so till I find out which of those feelings is the most accurate! Lol!
