What a dick. Very obvious that he doesn't have children!
Don't take it to heart tho... his prob, not yours. And sit with females next time - they get it

What an absolute w*nker!!
You next time you end up with him sitting near you i'd be tempted to throw around a few terms like "episotomy" and "birth canal". (yes I do know I have an evil streak)

what an insensitive prick! how dare he say that to you! reading that made me start fuming because it reminded me of my ex's best friend who made me feel absolutely awful for breastfeeding, saying it made him sick and that breasts are for guys to touch and to have a baby sucking on them was obsene(sp?) and disgusting.
some guys just have no clue and need to grow up!
personally i think an unborn child is a wonderful mystery, certainly nothing that should offend anyone!

He freaking what?!?! Bet he's just bloody glad he didn't meet me. I'd have nailed him to the wall.
I went absolutely ballistic at a guy who lived with a whole lot of my friends when I was giving Hannah some no-nappy time and he suggested I put a nappy back on her as it was making him feel uncomfortable. He may have been entitled to feeling uncomfortable, but I felt utter disgust that he was even considering my child's nakedness something to be uncomfortable about.
Oops... sorry for threadjack.

That is disgusting! It amazes me how some people can be so wrapped up in their own little world!
I'm with Paws, next time you see him try and throw vaginas into the conversation!

I thought I might mention something about pooing during delivery? Or tearing right around to your bottom? I'll wait until he has a mouthful as well

I think you should piss him off even more with it. If he doesnt like it, he can move to the corner of the room.

Actually if this occured in the workplace - you are entitled to make a complaint. I would seriously speak to your manager or your HR manager about it. Its not good enough to just let someone get away with comments like that - even if the guys is a prick!

He is a prick, but unless he does it again I'll let it lie.
Also, I'm not sure how I would word a complaint about this. He said something I found offensive, but apparently it was caused by me saying something he found offensive. Wouldn't I just look like a hormonal pregnant twit if I made a complaint?

He could have said it a bit nicer than he did.. but my DP is more squemish than a girl and I can imagine him saying something like that.. although he'd make a joke out of it.

he sounds like a real loser Mikaela! What you said sounded quite normal - not sure how he could have found it off putting - maybe he shouldn't have been listening to "your conversation" - he obviously wasn't part of it - idiot!!

What a creep!! I hope that some of the other woman in the room gave him an earful once you left. I'm sure they were as shocked as you. Not sure how he can interpret that as 'disgusting talk'. He's obviously led quite a sheltered life!!

What do you mean your rip and poo during labour?!
I thought you went to sleep and out popped the baby, and you went straight back to your pre-preggy weight?! Your telling me that's not true?
Hehe, I have a friend that hates 'placenta', so I try to chuck that in just to wind her up every once in a while.
I can understand how you felt so peed off - I would have socked him one (and then you just blame it on the hormones - gotta be good for something!)
