I can't offer any advice other than to ring your midwife or healthline and ask their advice.

Sounds like a show. I'd just give ya midwife a call and let her know and she'll let you know what you need to do if anything.

I'd ring your midwife, sounds like a show...I think MW's are used to being rung all the time so don't worry about it! Let us know what happens...

It's worth getting checked, could be early labour and you want bubs to stick in there a little while yet (though it will be fine if he comes now, just will need a little more support).
Good luck, hope you have called the MW.

It doesn't sound like anything to be worried about
Well that's unless you don't want your bubs to be born early
It sounds like you have had a show and are 3cm dilated

Well i rung the MW and she quized me a fair bit and wanted me to come in for a check up but as it is 40 minutes away i asked what she really thought it is and she said that it doesnt seem like enough to be a show (it was only about a 10cnt size ammount and she thought that it was possibly just an irritation of the cervix..she asked if i had had sex in the last 24 hours which i had a good laugh at and so did she considering my husband is more cripple than i am right now! lol so NO! ...anyway she said to keep an eye on it and if there was more within an hour then to go straight in otherwise she will ring tonight to see how things are and come and see me if i need her to.
I didnt tell her about checking my cervix incase she growled me for not keeping my fingers out! but i am very curious to know why it is so open!!!???
I havnt had any contractions that i have noted lately..i had severe back pain for the past few days but figured that i had just pulled a muscle while bathing Bay and it seems to be getting better! plus i cant tell because i have been getting cramps in my lower tummy for the past week and have put it down to the pelvic displasia as it only hurts at night in conjuction with my pelvis pain.
Iv been having a lot of tightening but figure it is just BH.
Iv also had alot of pressure down there!! and he definately feels like hes dropped down!
To be honest im not too worried if he comes early now because MW says he is far enough along to do perfectly well and he is a big boy as it is anyway but i would like him to stay in for another 2 weeksish!!
I got a huge growling from DH after i had spoken to the MW as she rung me on his cell phone instead of mine so he was wondering what it was about!!..hes just been freaking out about everything lately so i thought i wouldnt tell him unless i had to go in whoopsy!!

Hmmm. to be honest, back pain, cramping and BH together sounds like contractions to me - just ones that you don't really notice! Of course I am going on experiences of others here that I have heard or read. Just check with Dh that he is happy to help you birth at home if you aren't gonna be checked! lol!

LOL! miss DH can barely look after himself at the moment!! cos he cut his thumb and half his hand off with a skillsaw last saturday!!! so i cant see him being much help!!
Haleighsmum - DH is doing alot better than when he first did it! he has to go for a check on tuesday and to get the cast changed cos the swelling has gone down so now it hurts when the cast shifts and slides around!! hehe yup im supprised i can still reach my cervix but i just reach around my big bump! and im a flezy lexy! lol
I got in trouble at the begining of my pregnancy from MW for not keeping my fingers out whenever i would freak out with a cramp! (was just checking! ) and iv managed to keep them out of that region until now when i saw the blood and freaked!! but im sure shel growl me again!

heres another question - If i was really in labour then wouldnt Astin stop moving!!???? I think i read somewhere that babies become very still and calm when you go into labour and leading up to it but Astin is still moving around! not as much as usual but i figure that he is kinda running out of room in there so that was why???.....
