 Topic: Chch mums - any social netball players?

Just wondering if anyone is a netball player. Ive been watching the netball and thinking how much i miss playing. Wouldnt mind starting up an indoor netball team one night a week, maybe when it gets a bit warmer. Would anyone be keen?

I'd love to but this bump might slow me down at the moment. give me a few months and I'd be keen for indoor netball. i suck though!

I've been meaning to join a team since after high school!
I'm keen, but after the silly season for me. I've never played indoor but I'll give it a go. (Beats playing in the cold outdoors in winter, unless there's an outdoor summer league??)

I havent played for at least 5 years either. Im thinking it will be really really social, if we never when then who cares as long as we have a laugh and get out of the house for a night. So would everyone prefer to wait till the weather warms up a bit so we arent going out in the cold at night? Then we can decide who is definately keen and what night would be best and where. Indoor netball is cool, no hard concrete if you fall over (which I do a lot hehe) and its pretty social plus the kids and hubbies/partners can come down and watch or play if they want to cos its family friendly, hence the reason i was thinking when its warmer. Rachel Im taking you as a yes, dont be scared it will be fun! That goes for you to nuttymama, will be good exercise and help you get healthy after quiting smoking!!!

I am keen,.... but 20 weeks pregnant... and haven't played since high school... nearly 12 years ago! I might be useful for your team for next year, as I am 6'2"!!!
