Oh no you eat it hot- you could pull out what you want before cooling it, or just heat up bowl fulls in the microwave once its cooled
I just find it goes a bit scummy and has like a skin on top if it doesn't get cooled quickly, if it cools down faster it stays a lot nicer. Sorry I didn't make that very clear did I

It's one of my MIL's recipes. And she's a typical dutchie, can make a yummy soup for 10 out of one potato and a parsnip
