I just had a read of your blog, Ginger... All's I can say for now is That sux for you guys! Another example of bad things happening to good people. Along with everyone else here, I really hope that you two get your bundle of joy somehow - whether it's a the suprise of a miracle baby, helped helped along by IVF, adoption (I've got my fingers crossed that you'll find yourself preggers though) - whatever road you end up on, I hope you get your heart's desire. I think you'll make an awesome mum to some lucky little tyke!

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words, love and support yesterday while I was feeling a bit crushed.
I'm getting my feet back under me today, and probably the B vitamin content of the Elevit is kicking in as well ...hehe
And believe me, there is no way we're givng up on this thing. The specialist told me he believes that IVF would work like a dream for us, so whatever happens (or doesn't as the case may be) ...this time next year!!

Hi Ginger,
I have been following your posts and reading your blog since I found Oh Baby, and I have to save I really admire your bravery and honesty, and hope that everything turns out well for you and DH. I cant begin to imagine what it must be like for you both, so just wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you both (even if I am a complete stranger!!!)

There is nothing we can do except enjoy life in the meantime, so that's what we're doing! We have are going on holiday at the end of next week and I'm really looking forward to it - just some time to relax etc.
I figure that 12 months isn't too bad - it's 12 cycles, and I know that as soon as that time is up, I'll start IVF so it's a finite period. That helps! Having a plan really helps!!

Ginger I just read your blog and I'm in tears for you! I can only imagine how frustrated you must be feeling to have that Dr say there's nothing wrong and to wait ANOTHER 2 years!!!
I'm glad you are in the position to be able to save up for your IVF in a relatively short time.
