Matt left Thomas on the couch and walked away this morning and what did Thomas do? Fell off. Now he has a black eye. Matt very nearly had one to match.
What stupid stuff have your other halves done?

DH did the same to Charlotte, she fell head first. Lovely egg on forehead at about 8 months old. Grrrr.

I bet there are loads of bubs who have fallen off things when Mum "was in charge" .. i doubt its just a male thing.

Today Issy managed to knock her head on her change table .. maybe im lucky DH didnt want to knock my head into it

Yeah have to agree with lilfatty on this one. The number of times Noah got hurt at around that age when I was looking after him on my day off (DH looked after Noah from 6mths). It turned in to a bit of a joke with me and Kels. And DH used to get so worried about what would happen to him in my charge LOL. All in good nature though.

Oh i'm sure that happens.. its just that Matt is so stupid all the time and Thomas always gets bumps etc.

In Alex's defence, I don't think leaving a mobile baby on a raised surface "and walking away" is the smartest thing to do

Yeah I find my Dh doesn't always think, maybe it is a stay at home/ working parent thing rather than a female/male thing

Well once I had McKayla in the feeding chair and didnt put the straps on. Before then I always warned hubby to put it on. This one time I just didnt as i was feeding her and had no intention of looking away even for a second. All of a sudden I heard our dog barking and I ran out and as I left the kitchen I heard a big bang. McKayla stood up and fell out onto the tile floor and then I heard a blood curling scream. She was like about 7 months old.

Called hubby and he laughed after he knew everythign was fine (first call was to the pediatrician). And I was upset as I told him if it was him he would have been in the dog box. He laughed and said it was okay and he know that I would have done it but accidents happen.

And they do happen. You sometimes just do silly things without realising that you do it at that moment.

the worst thing DH did was leave Elise in the bath a few months back but I've done my share of stupid things ... like leaving her with the car keys while I walked round to the drivers side, yes she locked herself in

Sorry men do dumb things! and my DH does more dumb things than me when it comes to Caden! Im pretty damn careful with Caden
Men often dont really really REALLY think about what they are doing.
