You should be fine doing the test on wednesday for the results to be back by Monday.
I think the GTT takes 2 hours (Polycose takes 1hr) so they might do appointments. You could ring the medlab and check about appointments.

The GTT you can't eat for 12 hours before hand, they give do a blood test, you have the drink then you have to wait 2 hours and then they take another bt.

I did mine on Friday and they should have my results today, but I can't get hold of anyone will try again tomorrow.

The GTT one I did have to make an appointment for.
In Palmy they open at 7.30am so I was able to go before work.

oh i've just checked my form, i'm doing the polycose test - am i allowed to have my breakfast beforehand?

oh wonderful! normally i just have some muesli and a milo. i guess that is a bit sugary, but hopefully it'll be okay :D
