I have it sooo badly... i woke up the other night actually choking on stomach acid in my mouth and fumes from it... yuck yuck,.,. its disgusting.

I have been taking Gaviscon but dont like to take too much as it has artificai sweetners in it- so got my doc to prescribe something.. begins with R ... and its almost completely stopped it!! only have to take 2 a day.. one right before bed.. and i havent woken up with it since! Its safe for pregnancy too (was my specialist who prescribed it)

Marika is it ranitidine? that's what I got prescribed and it's worked a treat.

It's also sold under the name Zantac which is more well known I think.

Apparently they give it in liquid form to babies in NICU and SCBU so I was very happy it was safe to take.
