I was getting false labour for a few weeks before Chloe was born, too... I would get contractions which would be irregular, like 10 mins, then 2 mins, then 15 mins, then 5 mins, etc. It happened more often at night for me. The WORST is when I got ONE LONG CONTRACTION that lasted around 3 hours, I was about to go to hospital when it finally went away. I just had heaps of baths and stuff, wheat sacks good too.

Just make sure that you sleep whenever you can, even in the middle of the day, so that you aren't already exhausted by the time you go into labour properly.
Chloe (4 years) and Oliver (3 years).

I was thinking about you the other day Jane, cos I remember you having contractions for ages.
I dont think mine is as bad as yours was, but I know what you mean by one long contraction cos the other night I seemed to have a cramp that woudlnt go away, I felt crampy and achy constantly, but then it kinda just faded away.

I havent had anything now since wednesday really, so Im just going to cruise along until something happens again lol.
