Yes, 'flat' is normal (as apposed to circular needles). I am using 4.0mm needles with an 8-ply wool. I'm half-way through my second leg and it's sooooo easy to knit. I bought some of the Cleckheaton(sp?) country mixed colours so it's dyed different colours all the way through. It looks so cute.

Wow you have passed me, I've been so slack and am only up to row 30 of the body or the second side.

I have changed my mind about my fitted preferences. Babys cuddles velour are rubbish, ok for daytime but not enough for night. Swaddlebees are ok but Jack seems to wet over the top of them so I don't know whats going on there. Swaddlebees fleece covers are rubbish too, ours seem to leak through the body? Bittis boos are amazing, I didn't think I would even get one on Jack they are so trim but with a peapod trifold in there it lasted him all night. He had also been wetting through a pocket with a mf/hemp trifold and a hemp trifold so I'm very impressed.

Wow, that's really exciting news regarding the Bitti Boo overnight on Jack! I might just have to try one ;)
I'm so glad I didn't get the Baby Cuddles now. Although, just a thought, have you prewashed them heaps? Being bamboo they can take a while, athough I'm sure you already know this considering you're using Bitti Boos (please don't be offended).

Off to look at Bitti Boos again . . . .

yeah I haven't really washed my baby cuddles but there isn't anything in it if you get what I mean, its like just the coloured part of bitti boo. Its suppose to have a liner in it but they didn't send one when they sent it back.

I didn't prewash my bitti boo either, I never prewash I figure they might as well get a bit of use out of them while they are getting up to full absorbancy.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I read that the Baby Cuddles didn't actually have any inbuilt boosters, that you had to buy all that extra. The info is a bit misleading I think.

I've just ordered a Blue Sky bitti boo for Mother's Day!! Decided I (and Leo of course) deserved it. Besides, I'll need another nappy to use when my DB hemp is in the wash
