Congrats Charlotte so glad to hear both you and Jeremy are home and doing well.
As for me I am getting more and more impatient for this baby to decide to come. All through out this pregnancy we have been expecting to have another early baby, so we have been expecting things to happen for over a month now but as my M/W told me on Wednesday he is just doing what he is supposed to do so I just need to be patient and wait until he is ready.
Yesterday afternoon I started to feel like I was getting a cold and over night it has turned into a full-blown head cold. I really hope it goes away before I go into labour. I really couldn't handle not being able to breath properly when I am in labour

Cat, wah hoo, not long to go now. You must try and txt me when you are a Mum and we will pop up to see you at the hospital...good luck!
Michelle, I thought I was going to go early with this one too, but we ended up 8 days late...its a long wait isn't it! I was really sick the week baby was due and ended up in hospital, but he waited until I was well again which I'm sure your bubs wil do too

Grrr, I'm so fed up with being pregnant it's not funny, but what I'm most fed up with is the phone going every 10 minutes with people asking if I've had it yet!!!!! It was my Father in Law last night - I mean does he think we'd just not tell him? I swear my mother in law is trying to catch us out - she's rung twice in the past few days and her first words were both times "oh it took you a while to answer, I thought things might be happening and you might have been at the hospital..." - no thought that it takes me an age to haul my ass off the chair and get to the phone these days!
Sorry - had to vent....

Cat, Thats what I hated most about going over my due date too. I know everyone just is being nice and supportive but S*** it used to p me off soo much. With Cailin we didn't tell anyone once I was in labour and just let them know when she was out but with Jeremy we had to have someone look after Cailin so of course we knew that the SIL would txt the world the second she left our house from picking up Cailin....and she did.
Don't worry Cat, it will all be over soon
Hot food or hot sex (I'd go for the food

Yeah, I prefer the idea of curry, sex is the last thing I feel like doing right now!

Cat, don't do the curry! You will regret it. A friend of mine did it recently and ended really sick and although labour did start the next day she was having to run to the loo every 10 minutes, ended up really dehydrated and then had to give birth......eeek
Funny about the sex thing. My m/w said you would have to do it atleast 3 times a day and then lie on you back with your legs in the air for atleast 30 minutes after each time for it actually to have any effect at all.
I agree, the last thing I felt like was sex, not only are you too tired by that point the shear dynamics of it is mind boggling anyway.
Don't worry you girls will go soon, and then you will forget all about the waiting you are going through now

Fantastic, I can just see a 9 1/2 month pregnant woman lying on her back with her legs up in the air with her belly reaching up to her knees...good look
Renee, isn't tomorrow the day you become a Mum? I'm sure it is, so if I am correct, good luck hon and can't wait to hear from you once you are home

Yep, I believe she had a little girl last week at some stage. She hasn't been online as far I know, but we are hoping to hear from her soon and have her in the may mummies thread with lots of pictures of her little one!

Hiya all, what a week! Poppy was born by emergency c-sect on Sunday night at 8lb 1oz. My waters broke at 3am and I went into labour soon after, at about midday I was in full on labour and at 4pm had an epidural. The labour didn't really progress very well and they kept feeding the syntocinon into me which produced lots of very strong contractions (couldn't feel a thing - bliss - epidurals are wonderful) but Poppy started to get a bit stressed and I didn't dialate any further than 7cm. Finally after lots of umming and ahhing by all concerned they decided to send me to theatre.
I got out of hospital on Friday afternoon - was starting to get cabin fever! Poppy is doing well.
