Topic: HELP FOR A FRIEND Posted: 15 April 2007 at 7:21pm |
Hi, my sister-in-law's best friend has just found out she is preggie. It is rather exciting , but she is now 4 months, only about to find a midwife, and the horrible thing is that she has no $$$$$ - nothing. I have been through all my stuff as to what I don't need, but if anyone has anything that would help her , please PM me. (Christchurch) I have given advise bla bla bla bla - to stock up on things etc...... Cheers....

Yes she is, but has a bit of debt to try and clear, then they pay rent - bla bla bla. I know it is hard, as we are still stuggling from time to time, and I wish that I would just shut my mouth sometimes, but said I would help find stuff etc where I can, it's just my nature!!!

If she finds out that she is having a girl I could flick you a whole lot of baby clothes? I guess she will have to wait a bit til she finds out tho!

Best wishes for the friend, I know how tough it can be living week to week.

I've committed most of my baby clothes to Travelgirl for her twins, Fattartsrock for Charley and another friend who's having a wee boy, but I do have some random wipes/baby powder/lotion etc. that I've been given free thru work, I'm happy to send them on...

Wish I could contribute, but I've got friends all popping them out at the moment, and all i have is basically gone, apart from the few special things I want to keep. But it's lovely what you are doing Lissy I hope things work out for your friend. Don't forget that WINZ and IRD can help her out financially.
