Going to get bloods done today. I'm taking Elle for her [late] 15mth jabs and if she is ok afterwards I'll get my bloods done. I'm very sure I'm preggers though as I can just feel it + the spots on my chest tell me so

So we're still hoping to keep this pregnancy quiet (you know, other than announcing it on a public forum..duh!)

How soon did you "pop-out" with number 2? I wasn't visably pregnant until about 16 weeks with Elle.

So frustrating. I was feeling really calm but I haven't had nausea today so now I'm a little worried that something's wrong. I'm sure it'll be fine! The first couple of months are just a bit scary eh.

I didn't 'pop' with DD until 15 or 16 weeks the first time, and it's taken longer this time around, more 17-18 weeks. Not what I expected! Bubs seems to have made up for it since then, however. I am growing quickly and it's a bit painful! My midwife said that the growing pains you get during pregnancy are often stronger/more painful in subsequent pregnancies.

Stop stressing, you'll be fine! I hope my pregnancy-induced neurosis isn't rubbing off on you!

Best of luck with your blood results, but don't be surprised if they are quite low, mine were only 137 with this bub at 15dpo which seemed low but was quite fine.

Popping out I popped out heaps earlier with Josh than with Andrew.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I was the same with Michaela I knew I was pregnant but didn't get any morning sickness for a few weeks. I was actually wishing for it so I could feel pregnant - silly me, wasn't long before I was wishing the nausea would stop!!

I popped out really early with Michaela and had to announce at 8 weeks becuase I'd already had 3 people ask me if I was preggers (and several others asking my friends).

One of my friends didn't realise she was pregnant with her second until someone else noticed her belly and suggested she take a test, it was still really early days but she got big quick. Granted we're both about 5 ft size 8s normally so there's nowhere else for baby to go except out.

I'm 5"6 and 52Kgs...the same as before Elle but somehow she managed to hide. A colleague of my kindly told me I was carrying in my butt as it was bigger at about 4mths...ta! Lovely! Not!

LOL - don't you love friends?!! I spent the entire pregnancy being told I must be having twins or more because I was so big.

Even at my first antenatal class one of the other mums to be commented "I'm pleased you're the first due because you're huge" (she was due only 5 days after me) and the entire class expected me to come in to one of the sessions with a newborn baby - they thought I must have my dates wrong.

Way to make a big hormonal pregnant woman feel good!

I think maybe it might also relate to how strong your abs are. Mine are pretty good but I haven't put much effort in whereas before Elle I had really strong abs from lots of sit-ups, pilates, walking etc. I had intended to strenthen them fully again before getting prenant but can still do some work up until 12 weeks I guess. I'm already a bit bloated in the tummy but that'll be the progesterone..it's a nasty hormone!

Fitness is really impt to me and as I've had insomnia I'm not as fit was a I was when I got pregnant with Elle which is a shame. I think fitness makes pregnancy, birth and recovery so much easier!

I did pump (weight training class) at les mills before pregnant with Michaela so I had pretty good abs and nice muscles over all. Now I can still see the line where the abs seperated - ew! Really need to work on that before number two.

My results came back and my HCG levels at 14 DPO were 24. No wonder the positive result was sooooo weak 3 days before that!!!!!

24 sounds scarey to me but my doc said it is totally fine.

My HCG 14DPO with Elle was super high.
