It is Gaelic and means the first flower to open after a storm. Isn't that nice
I was supposed to be Rhiannon apparently, but my mom was reading a book while in labour with a Sterin in it and decided when i was born that it suited me better. Spelling was changed obviously as well.
I actually love my name, so have never had too many issues apart from people spelling it or trying to pronounce it of course

Best thing is being unusual that people generally remember me too. Great for job interviews :)
