Hehe that's the worst of the scans lol...getting up afterwards with a full bladder!
I was going to agree with Emma, don't go ahead and get one too early because everything is so tiny that it could cause you unnecessary concern. The first part of the pregnancy certainly seems to drag though, I understand how you're feeling! In Palmy Nth scans are not usual until 20 weeks

The radiologist I saw for my dating scan at 6.5 wks, said it's best to have one after 7 weeks, as prior to that it's dificult to accurately predict dates and often they can't pick up a heart beat that early. Saying that though, we did get a good heart beat, but the dates were quite out, compared to our 12 wk scan.

That's great news MeganGrace. It definately makes it seem more real when you can see the heartbeat.

Oh yay MeganGrace! Its so exciting to see that little heart beat ahy! Wow 11mm, mine was only 6-7mm at 6 weeks and 2 days! I asked the scan lady, do you think the baby would measure larger than normal at this early stage as my DH is 6ft 4, so I am expecting a very long baby! Apparently it has nothing to do with the growth measurement!

hahhaha Peachy that is so funny! I have a very good friend in the UK who is 5ft3 and a tiny wee thing, and her hubby is a giant of a man (not fat just solid) and is 6ft5!! She was HUGE suring her pregnancy (in proportion to her size!!) and was very very worried about the size of her baby! Her gorgeous wee man ended up weighing about 7lbs I think - so not too bad! He was very long though!
