I wouldn't be so sure about that BSDH ...
About 4 years ago my DH fell through our deck, and, among other things, did his knee in (it was v. v. messy!) ...so I bundled him in the car and took him to the hospital. Over the course of about an hour, while he was sitting in a corridor waiting to be seen, his knee blew up to epic proportions, and I demanded an ice pack from every passing nurse for about a half hour ...before I got tired of that, and gently suggested they might like to get onto my request (in the true nature of gingers, I have a wee bit of a fuse).
Anyway! Shortly thereafter, a nurse came scuttling back with an 'ice pack'. 4 cubs of ice in a plastic bag. I kid you not!!
So, I blew a further valve, and drove home again to retrieve our *actual* ice pack out of the freezer, and then went back to the hospital again to administer First Aid to my husband.
Yeesh!
So, I wouldn't consider yourself safe *just* because you're in a hospital BSDH!!
BS will probably whack you around the ear and they'll amputate your leg or something.

And the worst thing was that I'd had a roast in the oven, half cooked, before he buggered himself, and I had to abandon it. We ended up having McDonalds for tea or something equally revolting!
Well, I did - DH had to have half his face stitched up as well, so he wasn't feeling too peckish!

I know! It was incredible.
The story around the 'incident' is hilarious (in hindsight), but the hospital not having any ice packs for simple first aid? Yikes!!
