Does anyone remember how often you're supposed to "do it"? Once a day... once a week? Please say once every two months hehe

LOL, yup once a day!
If its of any comfort, I only did it for maybe 2 or 3 minutes a day and it wasn't sore

How far along are you Vix?
I was told not to use EPO until after 36 weeks as there is a small risk of it causing early labour. (Just in case you're not that far yet )

I had a go, but found it hurt, even in the bath. Midwife said to do it with olive oil, but I never tired that!
Vix,..I used Bio Oil right through my pregnacy from about 13 weeks, on my belly and hips after my shower in the morning. I also used Cocoa butter mosituriser on my belly before bed. No stretch marks on my belly or hips at all,...but lots on my boobs! So I would start oiling them too if I was u!

I tried it twice and it just hurt a bit. Ella had a larger than average head, and after an hour and a half of pushing I narrowly avoided an episiotomy, and only had a 1st-deg tear and a nasty graze (which the stretching wouldn't have helped avoid anyway). Somehow I doubt that doing the stretching massage would have prevented that. I think labouring in the bath is what saved me from needing more stitches!

Argggh stretch marks - I had none for my first pregnancy. Not a single one. And I hadn't even had time (or bother) for oils etc. Then Hannah was born and within the week I got all the stretch marks - from shrinking! LOL
Vix I know what you mean, it's nice to be semi-anonymous in a way and you can ask all sorts of funny sounding questions which I wouldn't dare ask in person
