This is probably a really stupid question but does entonox (that gas you have while in labour) have any effect on breastfeeding? I know it shouldn't but I'd just hate for it to dry up my milk.

I am going to the dentist and am the biggest wuss so they said I can have that to try and calm me down if I want.

I think it is passed off out of the system really quickly, which is why it can be used in late labour, without effecting baby, but don't quote me on that

I doubt it would..did you have it at birth? I did, and it didn't affect my milk supply at all. That reminds me, I need to go to the dentist too

Im pretty sure it doesnt effect breastmilk... but I wouldnt quite me on it!
