Try Trademe Jax. We got ours really cheaply off of there from someone who had been given 2, so it was all new and packaged.

Well I've spoken to some mum who never used a saftey sleep or wedge, just swaddled so we'll see how we go....if we have to get something though I'll go for the saftey sleep I think.

I had a wedge for Kiya, but didn't use it... I just wrapped her well until she was about 8 months old. Josiah I wrapped until he was about 6 months old.

Jax, if you want my safety sleep I'll send it to you. It's not the newest looking thing around but still does the job.
Let me know and I'll get it up to you and you can just send it back to me when you are finished with it.

We bought one (a Safe T sleep) thinking we'd use it from day one, but haven't used it yet! Will probably use it once Ashlee outgrows her bassinet and goes into her cot. She seems to settle perfectly fine just being wrapped securely in a blanket for now.

A friend lost her little boy to SIDS in February (some of you probably remember me posting about it) so I am a bit of a nutter about it too, I am getting these Respisense breathing monitors for the girls which alarm if they stop breathing.

That'd be really handy if the gremlins come a bit early. I know that sort of thing would drive me nuts unless I had a really good monitor!

I had the wedge one, as piper was a very vomity baby to start with so I slept her on her side and found that worked well, only used it for about 2 months
