Hi All.

Im a 28yr old mum (with a 3mnth old baby) with epilepsy...Just wondering if there are any other mums out there in the same boat with epilepsy??

Maybe Also start a coffee group or something??

Hi Ferny, I also have epilepsy, was only diagnosed about 1 1/2 years ago.
Unfortunately I'm in the South Island but it would be great to chat with you

My sister has it, had her first seizure at 10 weeks old, but she doesn't have kids yet.

Mind if i ask what meds? im on epilim 500..seems to be doing its job 4 me...have tried others eg: tegretal and lamictol but was a no go. was havin a fit every week with lamictal so back 2 epilim it was. Anyhows last fit was around september last year or so. doing fine since

OMG u almost have the same name as me!! My name is Kirsteen!   Yea im taking 1 in the morning and 2 at night...With my little baby on board now i guess i have to be careful that i get a full amount of sleep and not "Lack of"...

lol Nice to hear from someone with almost the same name too :)
