Paws, Sarah Beth was at the Zoo the day before us, which is probably how we missed her (Mind you, you're the only one of us who knows what she actually looks like!)

Toniellis - Your cravings sound a bit like mine, though at the moment because we can't afford to have takeaways all the time, we're forcing ourselves to eat healthier

And a cheeseburger sounds *really* good right about now !!

Now I am CONVINCED there may be something that McDonalds puts in the cheeseburgers to entice otherwise calm and responsible pregnant women like ourselves...cos for the past 4 weeks I have been dreaming about MacDonalds Burgers and I just cant stop! And I wasnt really a huge fan before I got pregnant, only had McD's once in a while - now I find myself EASLIY getting through 3 hunger buster meals (the one with tEh 2 burgers, chips, coke and sundae)in a week and still wanting more!
Oh the shame.....!!!

Today in our house it's Bakers Delight Spinach and Feta twist and Wave chocolate milk

Am glad that I am 100% over the McD's thing (for now anyway), took Maya there on the way to the hospital yesterday to feed her and the smell made me very queasy...

Lol Jax! I bought the deep fryer a couple of years back so I wouldn't have to spend money on fish'n'chips etc. I usually only use it once a month but lately its been living on my kitchen bench! Really shocking I know....

(Have I told this story already??? Mind blank... oh well...)
I had to take my very pregnant friend to McDs the other day to satisfy her craving for a Big Mac. Her partner is against big American corps and very environmentally conscious, so if she was caught eating McDs she would have been in big trouble.
Somehow she knew I was the woman for the job so got me to run down to the McDs and stealthily buy her a combo. My mission was also to dispose of the evidence later on.

So yeah, McDonalds definitely has something in it that preggo ladies can't resist!

I had heard that too. Not 100% sure - but Becs (Xandersmum) used to work for BK so she might know?

I would imagine that it's only a rumored risk because people say it has recycled pig fat in it, whereas when I used to work there eons ago I looked into the ingredients and there wasn't anything that indicated that... mind you, there is gelatin in it, but that's not quite the same, and the amount is very small. *shrug* Dunno why it would be a problem otherwise? I have had a couple sundaes admittedly, but I'm not a huge raving fan, so it won't be happening that much more often I guess.
