Sorry weird title, wasn't sure what to write.
On Tuesday (I think it was Tues, maybe monday?

) of this week, I was changing bubs nappy when I noticed that his diddle had a very prominent lump in it, as in underneath the skin ....so I went in for a closer look and it kinda moves around, about the size of my pinky fingernail, sorta oval/round in shape. At the time it oddly looked like a welt. When his thing is erect (God, it's incredibly uncomfortable talking/writing about this

) the lump appears to be bigger.
So I rush him off to the Drs within about half an hour of stumbling across it, the Dr tells me it's 'Smegma' ...I have researched this online and seen photos, I personally think he has misdiagnosed.
He told me to keep a close eye on it, that if it didn't go away within a couple days to a week, or it started getting bigger - that it could be a cyst and we may need a referral to a Paed.
So I guess what I'm asking here is, does this sound familiar to anyone? Any of your wee men had a similar thing? ...Umm any ideas of what else it could be? And IF it is a cyst, what happens with the whole process of removal?
I rang to try and book with OUR Dr (the day I rushed in him there we ended up seeing my brothers Male dr at the same surgery. Usually I see a female who works with babies also etc) ...anyways she's in high demand and earliest I can go see her for a 2nd opinion would be Monday. So I told the receptionist to flag that Idea and that I wanted the Dr we originally saw, to phone me up so we could talk. Still waiting to hear back ...not sure what else I can do BUT Lucas is starting to get rather distressed at nappy times and doesn't like me cleaning or touching that area ....it looks a little more prominent. I'm concerned, but not sure what to do next ...
TIA
