Topic: Quintuplets anyone? Posted: 22 February 2007 at 10:40am |
Just saw on the ozzie news on prime that a woman in Gaza gave birth to quintuplets after taking hormone drugs - apparently the doctors warned that the drugs had worked too well and she shouldexpect four babies...she had five...
funniest thing was all the babies lined up and not one nappy on them...so def all boys!!! The announcers asked if they dont have nappies in gaza...
hmmmm five in one go??? not too keen on that idea! and she had two kids at home already! UGH!

Imagine if they were trying for their third and then wanted to stop
Anyway I would expect out of all our OhBaby mums that you, Bombshell, would be our most likely candidate for quins

LMAO - ill come down there and......!!!!!
nope twins or triplets would be my limit i think....I wouldnt mind but DH threatens to go boating for life if that happens...LOL!!!
We did have a friend in oz who had quins on IVF waaay back but they all passed....and a neighbour about 15 years ago who also was pg with quins, but lost them all throughout the pregnancy...the risk is sooo big with the higher multiples! I do love reading about the septuplets in america each year tho....

My best friend in Canada has quadruplets for brothers, about four years younger, and conceived completely naturally ! Their house was always busy, but the door was always "open"...

yeah like the caughey septuplets in usa...oprah and Ladies homejournal took them on inititally and they basically got a new house, van, help etc...and each year LHJ do an update on them - i always buy that issue mainly to see how well the two with disabilities are doing...and OMG they are thriving soooo well....but i feel sorry for their older sibiling who was like 2 at the time they were born....it would be busy but awesome if you have the supports around...not sure you would get it in NZ to be honest...

I remember they had identical quads on oprah once that would be crazy having 4 babies exactly the same.
