OMG Emma....yeah that is pretty embarrassing...not sure weather to laugh or cringe.
I honestly can't think of a time when B has embarrassed me...embarrassed himself yeah but don't think he has ever embarrassed me.

Lol that is so funny! That is totally something my DH would do. After Willy did that did he have a laugh and pay the other dollar or did he just leave it??
My DH is always making jokes with random sales people. Sometimes they don't realise he's joking though I think cos of the way in which he does it - so that's why I figure it's good when I'm there cos I can laugh and show people it's just a joke! Lol.
We were going through McD's drive through and I got an icecream sundae, the guy handed it to DH and goes "Sorry I couldn't find any lids, is that ok" and DH says "Oh ok. Well we'll just have a big mac or something to make up for it" in a fully serious way and the guy looked kinda confused and scared! Lol so I did my usual laugh and 'shuttup love' and the guy had a good old laugh too.
Other times we've gone through drive throughs and he's tried to call the service person as many different names as he can "yeah hi there mate, I'll have a big mac thanks champ. A coke brother. Thanks dude" etc.. pretty hilarious though really. I think I've just gotten used to it

Oh the drive-thru names are just too cute! And Italiah - that comment is soooo something my DH would say too! And yeah Emma... does Jono ever embarrass me? Hell, yeah!
He dresses appallingly - was worse before we married but stubbies, socks and jandels, all covered in paint and silica are still the uniform today. Heavy-duty work boots for work, of course. But straight back into those jandels once he's home! He used to wear things with huge holes in them - one had pants that'd ripped down the crutch. Still wore them. The second time he met my mother was at my place, he was eating KFC in those awful pants, when he realised there was a gaping hole, so he said 'oops... excuse me'... rolled up his empty chip box into a tube, and shoved it in the hole so it poked out in an, ahem way. We call it 'the KFC box incident'.

Crikey! I think our men are related! My DH has a pair of work pants that have a gaping hold down the crutch too, and still wears them! He has holey undies that he won't throw out either! It's gross, I can't believe he would wear holey undies! It's not like he doesn't have tons of good undies that he can wear!
That KFC box incident is pretty hiliarious!!!!

Lol Andie - that is very funny .
Your DH sounds a little like mine although his dress sense has improved somewhat since I've been on the scene. I now buy all his clothes because he never shops & he'd seriously be wearing the same things he has owned for years & years (my "favourite" are his Line 7 trackies ).
DH is always doing DIY around the house. Trouble is he doesn't keep one set of old clothes so he has so many clothes that are holey & paint-splattered & generally look like cr*p.

OMG Andie, that is just classic! I am seriously ROFLMAO!Poor you! Mind you, Willie is also a big stubbies fan, and he reckons the reason we conceived the gremlins is coz he stopped wearing undies to work - God forbid any of his workmates be standing next to his truck when he climbs down or they'd get an eyeful

Ewww. stubbies with no undies!! That reminds me of when I used to work for my dad, painting texture on exterior of houses. One guy who was a wimp and happened to be wearing stubbies with no undies, wanted me to hold the legs of the ladder while he climbed up it to paint a bit on the gable, and when I looked up HELLO ! Hairy balls steering down at me!!! he was not the most attractive guy, so it REALLY made me feel sick! Needless to say, I didn't look back up!

Ewww Italiah, scarred for life !
LOL Arohanui, he did pay the other dollar (I hope!) He also gives poor drive thru people a hard time, and he is kinda scary looking so people never know how to take him, and it makes me feel like an idiot!

OMG ROFLMAO this thread is way too much.. I honestly have tears streaming down my face Just what I needed too as I've been feeling quite crappy lately
When I first met Raoul (DF) he and his family took me to the zoo... we had been there for about 5 miutes and the whole family started dancing in public and singing at the top of their lungs LOL so for a conservative homebody like myself that was VERY embarrassing but since then I am so used to it I just let it go without a second glance. HA what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger and all
Also, on the clothes front.. Some of DF's undies are appauling.. we call them his crotchless panties LOL and he has multiples of the same outfit so it looks like he's a homeless man with only one pair of clothes especially when he's unshaved Even a man local to us offered him 6 dollars for a sandwich and a coffee thinking he was a street walker HEHE that'll teach him
