DH was woken up last night to a crickle crackle and jumped up and said " Shhhiiiiit there is a mouse in here".... well there turned out to be 2 mice under our bed! I freaked out, hate the little buggers!
So will me terrified on the bed knowing that they were under there, DH went and got the torch to see where they were.
I left the room and after 30 mins DH came out with a pak n save bag and I knew it was all over!
Not sure how they got in. This is a pretty new house, 2 years old... going to get some bait today!!

Ew! I hate mice too and my useless cat can't be bothered catching them.
I'd get a trap if I were you. Bait can be dangerous for kids and pets and also the mice sometimes climb into the wall (or wherever they're getting in) to die and then you're stuck with a dead mouse in the walls stinking up your house
There's a grey plastic trap (can't remember what it's called) you can pick it up from mitre 10 or the warehouse and it'll get the little buggers, you just need to rub the trap with peanut butter and leave it where the mice can get at it.

The good traps are called "The Better Mousetrap" by Intruder Inc, I've managed to get them from the supermarket. Really easy to use too!!!!!!

LOL at the useless cat Kiwimummy!
We had a RAT in our kitchen last year, eating the tomatoes in our fruit bowl (I know, random) and set traps. The b*gger got caught in two of them at two different times and managed to flip around on the floor and still escape! It was a saga, I tell you. Finally caught it and DH had a plan involving thick gloves, a spade and pre-dug hole in the back yard. Never had any problems since.
I hate rodents!

Ewwww, I hate them too! They pop up from time to time here but Willie fancies himself as the mouse man so he deals to them. They give me the heebies!
