My 7 1/2 mth old hates his milk and I find it hard for him to take any during the day, a few sips here and there and one breastfeed in the afternoon.

He will take me in the morning and last thing at nigth but refuses milk from a cup or bottle and will only drink water!.

I hide most of his mid morning feed in with his cereal but would love to get some more down him during the day.

Anybody else had babies who weren't into their milk and do you know how i can sneak it in any other way?

Help!!! Hes too young to wean himself isn't he?, I'm worry he needs the goodness from the milk????

Could be teething and he has a sore mouth, give him a little bonjela and some pamol and then a bottle about 20 mins later to see how he goes. Some kids show no signs of teething except not eating.

Sounds like Jack he has a morning and night feed but hates formula or cows milk so I give him cereal and milk in the morning and yoghurt and fruit for lunch and a few snacks or cheese although I don't know if your boy is old enough for too much cow stuff. You might need to find other foods that are high in protein and calcium.

Haleigh did that for a while but she was a formula baby
I used to put her mornign milk in her cereal, if she wouldnt drink it at lunchtime I used to give her yoghurt then once 8 months cheese and at night I found she drunk it fine.
Once she went to cows milk I had toruble with her drinking it to so I added a tiny bit of flavouring, or mixed it as a fruit smoothie (did it with formula to every now and then), also hid lots of brocoli in her dinner to.
He could be weaning himself or teething, he's not to young to be wanting to wean, all babies do it at fdifferent ages, but more than likely teething

Do you not breastfeed him during the day? or does he not want it.. I'm not sure why you want him to drink out of a cup during the day when you could be breastfeeding instead? My daughter only drank water from a cup for ages.. it is probably because you are the one feeding him and he finds it strange having milk from another source. How long has it been going on? It could be teething.

He's too young to wean from milk all together, esp at his age, milk should still be the main part of his diet.

oh yeah when I said not to young to wean I meant wean from the breast, my friends girl wouldnt breast feed after 6months old and would only drink it in a cup form then.
