Ticket to ride or Sorry are good games.
They can be played with lots of people or just 2. DH and I play them quite often.
There is an excellent game shop: All Aboard Games & Toy Shop in Featherston, who are very helpful and source lots of different games as well as the old favourites.

Yes Catchaphrase!!  GREAT for a big group but as daizy says, not good for just a couple of people.
