ella has a tummy bug - in nelson the doc suggested giardia but we havent been anywhere...except nelson LOL!!! there is a nasty bug going round DC and OMG the explosions we are havvng are horrid - from Ella AND BSDH! I wanna leave home......
I thought viral tummy upsets only last 48hours to 7 days max???
My doc suggested cutting out lactose (which I've been trying to do) as apparently kids commonly develop short-term lactose intolerance for 3 weeks or so after a tummy bug.
It sounds as though my son has the same thing as Elle does. This is now day 14, although its only been REALLY bad for the past 9 days. My dr said that he had viral gastro-enteritis and that it could last up to 3 weeks!!!
I am so over it, and pray that I don't wake up to everything covered in it again tomorrow morning!
