Oh I didn't realise your baby was so new. You might want to talk to your mw, in case it is still postpartum bleeding and not your period, especially as you say it is worse.

im sure its my period, cos the other bleeding stopped and then i was just spotting and then BOOOOOM this happens, but yeah might give her a call anywho, i just assumed it was my first period. there seems to be alot of clots as well....but thats kinda normal for periods as well, well for me

I'd still check - my lochia stopped and then started again a bit later.

They probably wouldn't, but if it's a lot of blood it doesn't hurt to get it checked out. My bleeding went to spotting and then went heavy again after I had an active day. Took about 5 weeks for it to stop completely.

Mine was horrendous!
My PP bleeding finished about 4-5 weeks and I got my first period at 7 weeks. It was definitely not lochia.
I didn't go to see my doctor, I rode it out for 10 days of the worst, heaviest, grossest, clottiest bleeding I have ever had.
Hope it stops soon! I would ask your midwife or GP though, because I think there is something they can give you to slow or stop the bleeding.
ETA to add that like clockwork, my next period came 28 days later and was just like a normal period for me, which is heavy for a day or so in the middle but not much else.

ok spoken to one of my midwives (yes i have more than one lol) and she says it might be a post (something a rather) haemroage (excuse me spelling) so am off to womens assessment. thanks guys, i naturaly assumed it was just my period
