Maya didn't crawl properly till 8 mths, she was standing long before she crawled lol, the first time I ever saw her stand she pulled herself up on the side of the toybox and I nearly died of shock!

Jax, if you mum doesn't think that you should use it because it isn't endorsed by plunket, what about all the other baby products that aren't endorsed by plunket? Erin is your girl you do it the way you want to and what works for you and Erin.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Don't worry about what everyone else says.. it was when Ella was around Erin's age that I figured out that it's okay to go against the "norm" lol. And now I do it on a regular basis haha.. Ella sleeps in her pram for naps and I'm sure many ppl would disagree with me on this but guess what.. they do not know her as well as I do and have not been there every single day of her life! You are the one who knows best, and your instinct will tell you what is right

This is just a quick note to say what I did... Han always liked being wrapped but not with her arms in... well, they started in (folded so her hands were by her chin) but they always came out! I think Han liked the feeling of wrapping around her tummy... which is why the safety sleep worked so well with her. I think it came from me rubbing or resting my hand on her tummy when she was very little when trying to get her off to sleep.

Anywayyyy... I used only the wrap until Han figured out how to stand up in her cot (and couldn't figure out how/refused to get back down), from then on I 'tied her down' with the safety sleep. Took her safety sleep off when she got strong enough to wriggle over and stand up with it still attached to the bed! (How? I do not know)

If it works for Erin then good job!
