6 is too young! You have them for such a short time anyway, to have them taken away so early is hard. My thoughts are with your sister

Woohoo! What a sweet friend taking you with her! I hope you have an awesome time.
Your poor sister, that is so sad! I'm sure she'll be really grateful to you for the flowers and booze. Lots of people don't understand how hard it is to let your pets go so its always really comforting to have people who appreciate your grief around you.

I'm sorry to hear about your sisters dog. Big hugs to her - she's very lucky to have you to bring her flowers and booze in her hour of need.
Woohoo for the girly getaway night, I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time.

Awesome about the getaway!! Sad about your sister's dog. My cat of 17 years died over the weekend :(:(:(. I got a little cat charm that I have on my house keys as a momento. I wasn't there when she died cos she's a family cat at my parents house, but she died in front of the heater, her fav place, and my dad, lil sis and brother were there. Well have fun!...if you can.

i was at my sis's place most of the day and she was ok..apart from a major case of red eye! she REALLY appreciated the bourbon....knew she would, we are alike in that way
it sounds like rheen was in alot of pain and wasn't eating, so it's for the best. doesn't make it any easier though. she has 2 other dogs, a male and rheen's 6mth old pup so they will be sleeping inside tonight.
i'm sooooo excited about tomorrow! my friend is picking me up at 1pm and we are going to the hotel to drink our wine don't think the weather is meant to be too flash, so won't be poolside which is a shame..
thanks for you understanding ladies...alot of people just don't get how upsetting it is to lose a furkid..eva..i'm sorry about your cat passing..at least she died in a great spot! my cat of 16yrs (which stayed with my parents in nelson when i moved) died last year. as soon as dean answered the ph i knew what had happened
