we have all Lewis' family up this year and will be veeerrry interesting. BIL's bubba is due any day now. SIL has just found out she's preggers but doesn't want to tell BIL cause he'll think she's trying to steal the show (ironica as that what HE does constantly - announced his engagement at HER21st and announced they were having baby just before Taine was born)...anyway, so she isn't going to tell him at all, until he sees her fivwe month pregnant belly at xmas - when he will be really angry that he is the last to know. Oh the joys! AND we have to go to an unveiling that day - seriously ,who has an unveiling on xmas????? But we weill put our stuff in their hangi pit so we don't have to dig up the backyard...now just have to find some pauas...

My friend has done xmas day at the hospital and she said the food is really good on that day for some reason. But she doesn't have kids so it didn't matter to her. I worked xmas day when I was pregnant with Andrew - didn't matter too much to me my family was in Oz and I got paid nearly $40 an hour to work the day so that was nice money. Didn't think of the being able to leave thing. Only problem I have is DH's parents have 30 stairs to climb to get up to their house, could be interesting. I think DH will be making a few trips up and down to get stuff out of the car, and then back after the presents have all been opened. WHo knows I think we'll make our mind up when it gets closer to the time. We have xmas club money to spend so we will be having fun with that nearly $300 to spend on lots of baby stuff - hopefully its cheap that week.

I was 30 weeks pregnant at Xmas when I was preg with Maya. I recall lots of lounging around while the inlaws did all the work. the only sucky part was not being able to eat all the Christmas treats like ham, trifle and pavlova.

pavlova? why pav? what's wrong with Pav.. (can you tell i like pav?)
Yeah i don't mind the money for doing extra.. in fact even weekends.. If i work 1 day on the weekend, that's $76 extra in my pay.. that's money that can go toward wedding stuff.. having worked the last 2 weekends in a row, then working overnight shifts next week and a pulic holiday (labour day) the week after that.. I would say I should finally get a little bit of extra dosh to put on my dress.

Thats what I was thinking I love pav if it is done right. I ate ham whan I was pregnant with Andrew but my MIL had cooked it so I trusted her cooking. We are getting a ham this year and I am so eating it as we have cooked it.
