 Topic: an update re active topics please?

Just wondering if the tech guys could give us an update on when the active topics will be fixed???
i tried looking for new posts without using it but it was a bit time consuming cause i find lots of interesting things in more than just one or two sections.

I've just asked the tech team to give us an update, and will let you know as soon as I hear anything from them. We're so sorry this is still happening! If I had any technical skill at all, I'd fix it for you... But unfortunately I'm not quite savvy enough to figure this one out, so we have to leave it in the hands of the experts!

I've heard back from our tech team with a somewhat technical explanation of what they're trying to do to fix the problem, so I won't go into details except to say that they've got to do some manual checking of quite a bit of behind-the-scenes stuff to see where the problem is occurring. They're hoping to work on that within the next few days, so unfortunately we'll need to bear with them while they get it sorted. If and when I hear anything else, I'll let you know ASAP!

Is everyone annoyed because the list of active posts doesn't change despite changing the active since.... part? Not sure if that's what everyone else is having happen...

yep and still no signs of improvements... come on tech guys. if you are going to default it to always show from the last week cant you make it from the last 2 or 4 hours instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am missing posts all over the place and dont have the time to stroll thru everything...this time of year is too busy for that.

Mine just shows up all from the last 24 hours, so its not too bad if you check what time you were last on and only look at the ones after that. Not a whole weeks worth...
